Lauren Rainey-Borgdorff
Lauren Rainey-Borgdorff, LMSW earned her graduate degree from the University of Michigan.
She specializes in working with clients navigating ADHD, anxiety, depression, emotional regulation difficulties, and life transitions.
Lauren began her clinical career in community mental health settings where she worked as a TF-CBT certified therapist supporting children and families impacted by violent trauma. Working with diverse concerns and clients, Lauren also discovered her passion for ADHD-focused therapy and neurodiversity-affirming care.
Her therapeutic approach is integrative, combining CBT, DBT, ACT, mindfulness, psychodynamic, and person-centered approaches to help clients build sustainable systems, strengthen self-understanding, and improve daily functioning. Lauren has a particular interest in ADHD case conceptualization, especially among women and individuals who may have gone undiagnosed or misunderstood for years.
Lauren values collaborative, compassionate, and culturally responsive care, and strives to create a therapeutic space where clients feel understood, empowered, and supported in creating meaningful change.
