Dr. Hayley Frey is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist. She holds an undergraduate degree in music from Michigan State University and a doctorate in clinical psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Dr. Frey has worked with a diverse range of individuals and groups and finds herself drawn to working with eating and body concerns, depression, perinatal mental health, and issues of gender and feminism. Her pre-doctoral internship training was at The Emily Program, a nationally recognized eating disorder treatment center, and she come to Lotus following a postdoctoral fellowship that focused on health psychology. As such, Dr. Frey’s work is holistic and addresses both physical and emotional well-being. 

Dr. Frey primarily uses relational and psychodynamic treatment approaches to develop meaningful, individualized relationships with psychotherapy clients. At the same time, her extensive training and practice has also made her adept at utilizing behavioral techniques from Cognitive and Dialectical Behavioral Therapies when appropriate. Above all, Dr. Frey believes in being genuine in her therapy relationships, using both professional and personal experience to create trust and connection with her clients.
